Galleria VSB proudly presents “Shiva and Shakti: The Cause of Existence,” an exclusive art camp held in the sacred city of Banaras from 27th to 31st December. In this spiritually powerful place, where the energies of Shiva and Shakti come together, twenty talented artists from across the country joined hands to explore deep ideas of creation, destruction, and balance through their artwork. More than just an art camp, this was a space for artists to connect, share thoughts, and find inspiration in the bond between art and spirituality. The artworks created during this special time showed the cosmic dance of the universe—brought to life through bold colours, moving forms, and meaningful images inspired by the divine forces of Shiva and Shakti. The art camp was lovingly curated by our Founder and Chairperson Ms. Vandana Bhargava, whose clear vision and effort made it all possible, with valuable support and advice from Ram Prawesh Paul.
The camp was inaugurated by our special guests—Prof. Shri Prakash Shukla, well-known poet and prose writer from BHU; Ashok Kapoor, Convenor of INTACH, Varanasi Chapter and President of Kala Prakash; Jyoti Kumar Mishra (Raka), Advocate at the Supreme Court; and Anjan Chakraverty (Rtd. professor from B.H.U) in Art History dept. and currently a trust member of Gyan Parwah. Their presence made the event even more memorable and meaningful.
Well-known artists like Anjan Chakraverty, Himadri Ramani, Anil Sharma, Sanjay Sharma, Ashok Bhandari, Jiten Sahu, C.R. Hembram, and many others brought their own thoughts and spiritual understanding to this journey. The camp celebrated not only creative work but also honoured India’s living traditions, showing how art can help keep our rich culture and spirituality alive.
