Jogen Chowdhury

Jogen Chowdhury (b. 1939) is a prominent Indian artist known for his expressive lines and innovative approach to figuration. Born in Faridpur, now in Bangladesh, Chowdhury graduated from the Government College of Art & Craft in Kolkata and later studied in Paris. His works are characterized by their fluid, sinuous lines and the use of cross-hatching to create texture and depth.
