Galleria VSB’s Creative Art Retreat, a sanctuary where artistic minds converge to celebrate the powerful theme of “Shakti: The Creative Power of the Universe.” This unique retreat, held at the renowned Kala Bhavan in Ranchi, brought together artists from diverse backgrounds to foster a community of creativity and inspiration.

The retreat offered a vibrant space for artistic expression, allowing participants, including Himadri Ramani, Ram Prawesh Paul, Amarnath Sharma, Anil Sharma, Jiten Sahu, Ashok Bhandari, Ranjit Kumar, Ashok Kumar, C.R Hembram, Ramanuj Sekhar, Pramod Kumar Rajak, Dharamjay Kumar, Sunil Modi, to delve deep into their creative spirits. We were privileged to have Mr. Dharmendra Dixit, the esteemed Director and Competent Authority of Jharkhand, grace us with his presence. His encouraging words resonated with the artists, providing them with motivation and a sense of purpose.

At the heart of this retreat was the commitment to spotlighting the talents of emerging artists from predominantly tribal areas. These artists, often overlooked due to their geographical and socio-economic challenges, found a platform there to showcase their extraordinary skills. The retreat’s objective was not just to highlight their creative prowess but also to bring their unique perspectives and stories to a broader audience.

Through this initiative, Galleria VSB aimed to bridge the gap between marginalised artists and the mainstream art world, ensuring that their voices were heard and their art appreciated. The theme “Shakti” serves as a powerful reminder of the inherent creative force within every artist, symbolising the dynamic energy that drives artistic innovation and expression.
