Kunti, Queen of Hastinapur, marries Pandu, who is later cursed by sage Kindama. Before marriage, Kunti receives a boon to bear Yudhisthira, Bhima, and Arjuna, while Nakula and Sahadeva are born through Madri. In the painting, Kunti, with a crescent on her forehead, protects her five sons, while Karna, shown in orange, symbolizes his abandonment. The scene reflects the epic of Mahabharata, highlighting fate, sacrifice, and destiny.
