Vishwarupa, also known as Viradrupa, is the universal form of Vishnu, symbolizing his cosmic and infinite nature. The most renowned depiction appears in the Bhagavad Gita when Krishna reveals his divine form to Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. This theophany, granted through divine vision, encompasses countless faces, arms, celestial beings, and forces of creation and destruction, illustrating that the entire universe exists within him. Overwhelmed, Arjuna realizes Krishna’s supreme divinity. Vishwarupa is depicted with multiple heads and limbs, embodying the vast, all-encompassing presence of Vishnu as the ultimate reality
