MAHAKUMBH
72 X 120 Inches
Acrylic on canvas
2025

The Kumbh Mela originates from the churning of the ocean for Amrit, symbolizing devotion and spiritual discipline. At the center, Radha-Krishna embody divine love, while sages sit on the left and Shiva-Parvati, in Anjali Mudra, on the right. Shiva, as Neelkanth, represents selflessness, mirroring the purifying power of the Kumbh bath. The sacred rivers, Ganga and Yamuna, unite Bhakti and Tapasya, guiding seekers toward moksha.
