ASHTHA GANESHA
72 x 72 inches

2019
Ashtha Ganesha refers to eight divine forms of Lord Ganesha, each symbolizing protection from destructive human traits like ego, anger, and greed. Revered as the remover of obstacles and the giver of wisdom, Ganesha’s form embodies strength, compassion, and spiritual guidance. His symbols—like the modak, Ankusha, and celestial companions (mouse, lion, peacock, Sheshnaag)—carry deep meanings of humility, power, beauty, and cosmic energy. The eight incarnations—Vakratunda, Ekadanta, Mahodara, Gajanana, Lambodara, Vikata, Vighnaraja, and Dhumravarna—represent his timeless role in leading humanity toward righteousness and enlightenment.
