SAVITRI BHANINARADA SAMPAD

Savitri, a wise and devoted princess, chose Satyavan as her husband despite knowing he was destined to die in a year. Narada Muni warned her, but she remained firm in her love. As foretold, Satyavan died suddenly in the forest, and Yama, the god of death, came to take his soul. Unwavering in her devotion, Savitri followed Yama and engaged him in a deep conversation about dharma and righteousness. Impressed, Yama granted her three boons, and with clever reasoning, she ensured that Satyavan’s life was restored. Her wisdom, love, and perseverance triumphed over fate, making her story a timeless symbol of devotion and strength.
