Born in Tamil Nadu, in 1976, M. Rama. Suresh's paintings are known to introduce the audience to people and places that make India so special. Attaining a M.F.A degree from the prestigious Government College of Art and Crafts, Chennai, he has been guided by renowned artists like Dr. Alphonso A. Doss, Mr. R.B.Bhaskaran and Mr. C.Dakshinamurthy amongst many others. Inspired by the works of masters such as Vincent Van Gogh and Shri K.M.Adimoolam's works, he created realistic paintings with the knife, through the Impasto technique (Low Relief)) and vibrant colours which has become signature style. Since his very first show “The Colour of Nature”, as early as in 1997, he has dedicatedly celebrated inherent ethnicity and dying traditions in our culture.
